David Downey

Co-Chief Executive Officer

David Downey is a highly experienced media executive and serial entrepreneur who has been in the television business for 45 years. He is the Co-CEO and cofounder of INVIDI. As CEO, Downey brings a tremendous depth of cable television industry experience to INVIDI. His almost 40 years of experience includes cable operations, new media technologies, television advertising, and start-up management. 

Prior to INVIDI, Downey was founder and president of AMN, the U.S.’s first computer television network where he deployed to 5.5 million subscribers in 116 markets including Comcast, Charter, Adelphia, and AT&T. At Triax Communications, Downey served as Senior Vice President responsible for franchising, marketing, programming, sales, advertising, and public relations. 

Under his leadership, INVIDI has won two Technical Emmy® awards and recently won Best in Market at the 2022 NAB Convention for its INVIDI Conexus® product. INVIDI has generated billions of dollars of advertising revenue for their clients.  

An inductee into the Cable Television Pioneers class of 2012, Downey has been involved with the launch or growth of many successful enterprises and now brings his leadership and vision to INVIDI Technologies. 

Bruce Anderson

Co-Chief Executive Officer, Global Chief Technology Officer

Bruce Anderson is a widely known expert in digital video technology and has developed key patents in the industry. Anderson and the INVIDI team were awarded with a Technical Emmy® in 2016 and again in 2021. Prior to joining INVIDI in 2001, Anderson was Vice President of Broadcast Products at DIVA, then the leading provider of video on demand. His experience includes ten years at Sarnoff as Managing Director of Digital Television and Entertainment, where he focused on the design and development of digital video systems. Anderson was part of a senior team that developed the ATSC Digital Television Standard, DIRECTV and DIVA. He also managed an intellectual property portfolio valued in excess of $200M. Three of the projects he managed led to Technical Emmy® Awards for Sarnoff.

Chris O’Toole

President and Chief Financial Officer

Chris O’Toole has over 35 years of operations, finance, and administration experience, primarily in the cable and media sectors. As the company’s President and Chief Financial Officer, O’Toole oversees the financial, human resources, legal and real estate divisions of the company. Prior to joining INVIDI, O’Toole was Senior Vice President and CFO of On Command Corporation, and CFO and Vice President of Triax Telecommunications Corporation. In 2022, he was recognized as one of the world’s top Chief Financial Officers by Boardroom Media.

Niru Krishna

Chief Innovation Officer

Niru Krishna is an exceptional leader whose vision has been instrumental in driving INVIDI’s growth to a best-in-class software organization over the last two decades. A hands-on leader who manages a diverse team across four countries, Krishna championed the adoption of Agile and Dev Ops methodologies within INVIDI, helping the company outperform the competition in the face of shifting technologies and market demands. Together, this team has significantly increased revenue and decreased time to market. Krishna is an exceptional leader whose vision has been instrumental in driving INVIDI’s growth to a best-in-class software organization over the last two decades.

Michael Kubin

Managing Director, North America and EVP, Global Communications

Michael Kubin has spent over 30 years in the media industry, beginning in programming and sales at CBS and NBC. He then co-founded Corinthian Media, which became one of the leaders in the media buying and planning business. Kubin then became president of Club Med Inc., the travel company’s North American division. Using Club Med as a cornerstone client, Kubin co-founded Media Inc., a media buying and planning company which was sold to the Interpublic Group. Kubin joined INVIDI’s board of directors in 2003, moving to the operating side as EVP of Media in 2006.

Nick Chuah

Managing Director, APAC

Nick Chuah has more than 20 years of commercial sales leadership experience in multiple industry sectors within the APAC region. Over the past decade, Chuah has specialized in developing revenue opportunities with enterprise software companies. At INVIDI, his expertise in business development, product management, big data engineering, and account management has led the company to new market opportunities in the region.

Prasad Sanagavarapu

Managing Director, India and EMEA

Prasad Sanagavarapu has over 20 years experience leading content distribution, advertising, security, and media appliance strategy. A hands-on leader, Sanagavarapu has built and managed industry-leading global sales, operations, and development teams. He spent years providing strategic consulting to leadership teams at multiple pay-TV distributors in APAC and Africa before joining INVIDI in 2020. Sanagavarapu first developed emerging markets at INVIDI, then became Chief Business Officer. He is now Managing Director of India and EMEA.

Ron Gravino

Senior Vice President, Finance and Human Resources

Ron Gravino currently serves as SVP Finance and Human Resources for INVIDI. Prior to joining INVIDI, he was a financial and management consultant in private practice for over 15 years, specializing in start-up ventures and turnaround management where he has held many interim CFO positions for developing companies. Previously, Gravino was CFO for Squibb-Novo Inc., an international pharmaceutical joint venture between Squibb Corporation and Novo Industri A/S of Denmark.

Gravino is responsible for day-to-day financial and human resources operations. His role includes financial reporting, budgeting, interaction with external auditors and treasury functions. In the HR arena, he works within the areas of recruitment, policy, employee benefits, and HR database management.

Matthew Hillary

Senior Vice President, Operations

Matthew Hillary has over 20 years of experience in the cable advertising industry, starting his career at Skyconnect where he helped build out customer support and deployment strategies for the traffic and billing division. He continued his career working as a principal support engineer for other companies such as ACTV, Intellocity and Ncube working on different advertising platforms.

Hillary joined INVIDI 16 years ago to support the company’s first commercial deployment and helped lead the expansion of customer deployment and support teams.

Hillary is responsible for INVIDI’s day-to-day global operations, including IT and facilities, as well as ensuring customer facing teams have the tools and knowledge needed to address their concerns and provide them with the best service in the industry. Hillary’s key focus is ensuring that INVIDI’s customers have a voice and that INVIDI can respond to their needs as well as the ever-changing needs of the marketplace.

Marcelo Lechner

Senior Vice President, Customer Solutions

Marcelo Lechner joined INVIDI in March 2020 and brought many years of experience in the pay TV industry, focusing the last ten years on operators’ advertising rights. Prior to INVIDI, Lechner was responsible for launching local and addressable advertising on linear TV and VOD for Verizon. He is a co-author of multiple patents for optimization of inventory and capacity usage in telco platforms. As Senior Vice President of Customer Solutions, he is responsible for providing technical and business solutions and to help new customers in their journey to monetize their inventory.

Edward Thorn

Senior Vice President, International Sales

Edward Thorn has over 30 years of experience in cable television and related technologies. He founded Cable Properties Inc. after building the first Latin American cable television system in Santo Domingo. Thorn’s advisory firm specialized in M&A and was involved in hundreds of transactions in the US, Latin America, and European cable television markets. He co-founded WorldPort Communications Inc., which received the second global license for telephony in the Netherlands. Thorn is currently focused on opening new markets in Central and South America from his base in Madrid.

Patrick Sheehan

International Chief Technology Officer

Patrick Sheehan is responsible for INVIDI’s technical approach in international markets. He has 30 years of experience managing, designing, and developing hardware and software for a variety of platforms and applications. Sheehan helped develop software for the NEXRAD weather radar system and the Sea Wolf submarine for the US government. He has also developed software for the global delivery of real-time financial data for the Dow Jones Corporation. Sheehan was a founding partner in Philadelphia Real Time, a consulting company working with digital cable technologies.

Matthew R. Perkins

General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer

Matt Perkins currently serves as INVIDI’s General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. Perkins counsels INVIDI’s senior management on various legal matters, including strategic initiatives, commercial transactions, technology licensing, patent prosecution and portfolio management, regulatory compliance, and other legal aspects of INVIDI’s business. Perkins is also a partner with Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP in Denver, Colorado.
